Manufacturing Process — Forging & Heat Treatment

Incoloy 926 is melted by AOD/VOD refining with strict nitrogen control, hot-forged at 1100–1250°C and finished above 950°C. All products are solution annealed at 1120–1170°C followed by rapid water quenching to keep the fully austenitic, precipitate-free microstructure. Bars are peeled and straightened; tubes are cold-pilgered, pickled and passivated for maximum pitting resistance.
